The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour - 2011
The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour - 2011 will take place on Saturday, October 15th and Saturday, October 22nd, 2011.
Tour times are 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, and 8:00 pm. Volunteer guides will lead you through Century Village and
our very old local graveyard, while you listen to historical stories of past lives and some local ghostly lore.
Each tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours. (Century Village is the Geauga Historical Society's historical village in Burton, Ohio.)
The tour includes historically accurate stories of the local area, some good "ghost stories", and includes a shuttle bus ride
to the local graveyard. Get a good look at some very old grave markers. A light snack and
beverage is included. We will walk at an easy pace, covering about a mile.
Some stops (including the shuttle bus) have a few stairs, so the tour is not entirely handicapped accessible.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are necessary. The Ghosts of Burton Historical Tour generally sells out, so book early.
You may mail in a check or call with your credit card number. Use the 2011 registration form (PDF below) to print out
the registration form. After registration and payment, a confirmation will be sent to you.
The cost is $18 per person for adults, $12 for ages 8 to 14, and $8 for under age 8. This tour is intended to be
"family friendly", but very small children may find it boring. This is NOT a "haunted house" tour, and we do not
create artificial cheap tricks for amusement.

Remember that you must read the OUTSIDE from right to left, since this is a 3-panel brochure.
After the Tours concluded in 2010, the News Herald ran an article about them. Several tour-goers commented on the article.
